Personality isn’t permanent

We think we know someone well enough but we actually don’t. Our taste changes as we try new things. Our mindset gets wider as we meet new people, learn new things and explore new places. Our goals change our direction as we set different priorities. Whatever was important a couple of years ago, means nothing today. It can be a sad realisation – imagine whatever you worked so hard for is no longer relevant. However, once you shift your focus from something that has played its role in your life already, you can notice more exciting things around you. These things create new dreams, set new goals and motivate you to be a better version of who you were yesterday. Everything is temporary so your personality. It is not a scary thing. It is more scary to stay where you are and never have the courage to move forward.

There is a reason why we get excited about the release of a new car model of our favourite brand. We also look forward to seeing a new movie that we were waiting for. New things are always exciting so why are we scared to bring new things to our life? I guess you have to free the space for new things by getting rid of old stuff. And this is what a lot of people have issues with. Look at it from the perspective of giving a second life to something that served you well. People that have issues with throwing old stuff (i.e. clothes) away, can think that they can do this world better by giving old stuff to a charity or recycling. And what an enjoyment it is to get new stuff! Same with friendships. By letting people go, you become stronger and encourage others to keep pushing, be better and chase new dreams and aspirations. At the end of the day, the right people that are meant to stay in your life, will be in your life. The things that are yours, will be yours. Ange xx
